My name is Bethany-Angel Chijindu, and so much of what makes me who I am, is the influence of all the beautiful places/countries I have called home. It’s almost three years now since I returned to Nigeria, for what I call my second sojourn in my Fatherland.
What a journey it has been thus far. I am a Resident Writer at Sabi Writers, and the Training Experience Lead during the day. At night I work on writing my personal creations and content. I am currently working on my memoir.
To read about my experiences and perspectives on different topics, you can always find interesting stories here on my blog.
The concept of home is fascinating to me. I consider myself Multicultural with legal ties to three countries, Nigeria, Sierra Leone and Zambia. It wasn’t always easy navigating around my identity and who I am as an individual.
I have finally accepted the fact, that the concept of Home, and what it means, will always be a complicated yet adventurous journey for me. I invite you to come along with me as I discover home in my various adventures.
My current adventure is readjusting to life in Nigeria. I hope to faithfully share my experiences. I am going to write about my unique experiences, and talk about how others can adjust to life as it unfolds both at the individual level and at a societal level. I hope to inspire and motivate others to look beyond their own cultures and find out that there is so much more to life.
